Columbia Journalism School observed Journalism Day today with David Brooks, op-ed columnist at the New York Times, delivering the annual Pringle Lecture.

John Branch, who writes for the New York Times, was presented with the Mike Berger Award, and a winning team from the Associated Press—Matt Apuzzo, Adam Goldman, Chris Hawley, and Eileen Sullivan—accepted the Paul Tobenkin Memorial Award.

Awards were also bestowed upon top journalism students. The winners are:
